Since 1891, Tretorn has developed products made for the Nordic climate – functional, durable, and stylish. Throughout history, we have not only been part of everyday life but also of the world of sports. Already in the 1960s, Tretorn was present on the Olympic stage, creating the official sneaker for the Swedish Olympic team at the Mexico City Games in 1968.

More than fifty years later, at the Winter Olympics in Beijing 2022, the tradition continued. As the official supplier to the Swedish Olympic Committee, we provided the entire Swedish Olympic and Paralympic teams with a special edition of our classic Arch Hybrid.

The Olympic Arch Hybrid was crafted from natural rubber and neoprene, winter-lined with pile to ensure lightness, warmth, waterproofness, and superior comfort. It was designed in a deep dark blue with subtle contrast details, featuring “SWE” embroidered tone-on-tone along the heel seam. The pull tab carried the symbols of the Three Crowns and the Olympic rings – representing both Sweden and the Games.

With the Olympic Arch Hybrid, Swedish athletes kept their feet warm and dry between competitions in Beijing. The shoe was also released in an exclusive edition for sale online and in-store at Väla, Helsingborg – allowing everyone to match the athletes.
